VW spark plug wires

Even if the wires are made of such materials, the transfer of electrical voltages may be interrupted by several factors which include improper connection of the spark plug terminal due to the increase in pressure inside the combustion engine. This may be caused by leak combustion gases that pass through the spark plugs. Another factor is when the wires are starting to have corrosion on its conductive material. Arcing is another factor which is caused primarily by the moisture that is being trapped in the spark plug hole or in between the spark plug and the wires. If this happens, this will cause permanent damage to the plug wires and eventually to the spark plugs as well.
