VW tie rod
The VW tie rods are responsible for connecting the steering knuckles to the center link on vehicles employing conventional suspension system and re-circulating ball steering gears. The main purpose why the VW tie rod is installed in your VW is for it to cause the wheels to turn by transmitting the force that you exert on the rack or on the steering center link to the steering knuckle. The VW tie rod is consisting of an inner and outer end, which allows the tie rod’s length to be adjustable. For you to maintain the smooth operation of your vehicle’s steering, you must regularly check your VW’s steering and suspension systems, along with the complete wheel alignment for at least once a year. Like the rest of your VW components, your VW tie rod is also susceptible to corrosion, wear and tears. They also fail due to constant use which actually results to a sloppy and lose steering.
