VW CV boot
The acronym “CV” boot actually stands for Constant Velocity. The changes done for the features of the constant velocity or CV boot is helpful to the evolution and improvement of a comfortable but practical front-wheel drive transmission. Constant velocity boots used for older car models has the tendency of cracking or even splitting due to certain environmental elements like cold weather. A temperature that is relatively colder than usual will deplete the grease that lubricates the joint which then, paves way for road grit to freely infiltrate the component system. This is very common in winter seasons. When the component is damaged, the vehicle owner does not find the problem right away not unless the clicking sound from the damaged area is already heard. When a clicking noise is noted, this automatically entitles you to an expensive component repair.
