VW fuel filter

VW fuel filters are made from quality filter material that traps dirt while allowing the fuel to pass through the strainer without any hindrance. Filters for carbureted type engines may be located at the inlet or inline of the carburetor. In fuel injected engines on the other hand, the VW fuel filter is situated along the fuel lines of the fuel injection system. The construction of the filter on the fuel injected engine must withstand the pressure that the fuel pump creates for efficient filtration process. Since the fuel moves continuously from the tank through the filter to the fuel rail or throttle body, the filter must be in good working condition.
