Furthermore, more advance type of VW fuel injectors such as the electronic type, are now available. This VW fuel injection device has a separate injector on each cylinder which is sometimes called as the multi-port fuel injection. With this kind of set-up, all the VW fuel injectors dramatically deliver fuel at the same moment even if the cylinders don’t ignite the fuel at the same time. However, this consumes more fuel than the ordinary type of VW fuel injection systems. In order to minimize the fuel consumption, a sequential fuel injection system has been developed, which sprays fuel before that cylinder ignites the mixture.
